Home Energy Efficiency Forum - Oct 8

Electricity rates are rising. Home heating oil prices are skyrocketing. Natural gas prices continue to climb. What's a person to do? Sustainable West Hartford, the West Hartford Clean Energy Task Force and Clean Water Action invite the public to a forum on home energy efficiency options on Wednesday, October 8, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the West Hartford Town Hall Auditorium, 50 South Main Street, West Hartford.

Join us at this forum and learn how to save money on energy costs with programs free to some CT residents, discover practical ways to increase energy efficiency in your home or apartment and get the inside scoop on financing and additional incentives available to help you make these improvements, many which are free of charge.

Presenters include Roger Smith, Campaign Director for Clean Water Action and Paul Popinchalk, Energy Engineer with VanZelm Heywood & Shadford. Both are members of the WH Clean Energy Task Force and Sustainable West Hartford.

Admission to the forum is free and open to the public. To RSVP or for more information, please contact Chris Corcoran at 860-232-6232 or ccorcoran@cleanwater.org.
